The Hispellum farm’s olive trees are located on Spello’ s hills, along the road that leads to the old Collepino’s Castle, and close to the Vallegloria Monastry.

Chronicles of 1178 in particular in Pope Alessandro III books, we read about this monastry where it has been reported there are trees up to 1000 years old. A mystical environment rich in history and heritage, which inspired the colours and landscapes of Pinturicchio.

The affection and the respect for the land, helps us to mantain the terraced plots of land where olive trees are planted, typical layout of Spello’s hills. A surface of 50 hectares, at an altitude between 400 and 500 metres above sea level facing east.

This provides a very high sun concentration on the area. The land is rich in red stone, ideal conditions to develop an excellent quality oil, with natural anti-oxydants, all grown without chemicals.
